Colombia

1. Passport: Original Passport with a validity of more than six months and with minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach old passports (if any).

2. Colombia Visa Application Form duly filled. 

3. Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).

4. Covering Letter from applicant on business letter head mentioning name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of Colombia, New Delhi.

5. Medical: Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) at the time of travel.

6. Authority Letter is required on a stamp paper authorizing for submission and collection of the passport from the embassy.

7. Confirmed Air Ticket

8. Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance covering the duration of the stay in Colombia.

9. Vaccination certificate copy with Passport number

Financials 

1. Bank statement for last 3 months 

2. Personal ITR for last 3 yrs.

5. Invitation letter from the inviting company / host on the letter head in Spanish language mentioning applicant’s name, passport number, purpose & duration of visit, a brief description of the activity that the applicant is going to do in Colombia. Inviting company / host should also state that they take full responsibility of the applicant’s entry & exit from Colombia. The letter should be duly signed by the authorized signatory by Blue pen and has to be addressed to 'The Consular, Embassy of Colombia, New Delhi'.

6. Copy of the Registration Certificate of the Colombian company.

7. Recommendation Letter through recognised Chamber of Commerce in India.

8. Medical: Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) at the time of travel.

Occupation:

1. Company registration certificate/ Certificate of incorporation in India

2. Certificate of Existence of the company to be given by a competent authority (Chamber of Commerce or export promotion council) where the company is registered in Colombia

3. Brief company profile 

4. Articles of Memorandum (In case if the applicant is director / MD) 

5. Proof of proprietorship/ Partnership (In case if the applicant is Proprietor / partner in a firm) import/ export license (if applicable)

Financials: 

1. Personal ITR for last 3 years 

2. Original personal and company Bank Statement for the last six months till date duly signed and stamped by the bank.

3. Six month’s salary slip

4. Covering Letter : A letter from the legal representative of the company stating his name, designation, passport number, purpose and who will bear the expenses. The letter should be addressed to: The Visa Officer, Embassy of Colombia, New Delhi.

5. Contract or the form "Contract Summary”: completed, signed and authenticated by the parties, indicating the object of the contract, duration, agreement of terms of engagement, transfer or move as the case may be, salary, post and functions. Contract must specify that the contracting party or employer undertakes to the Colombian government that at the end of the contract, engagement of period of transfer, or in situations which impede performance of the functions or activities object of the contract, or death, or when the visa is to be cancelled, or there is to be deportation or expulsion in the terms of Decree 4000/2004, that it will pay all expenses of the return to the country of origin or to the last place which has been shown to be the residence of the applicant contracted, together the expenses of his family, (if any)

6. Valid document accrediting corporate existence: Valid document accrediting corporate existence, if appropriate, where the contracting party or employer is a corporate person, issued within three months prior to the application for the visa. If considered necessary, the accounts of the company will also be requested, in order to demonstrate economic solvency; or a photocopy of the tax return. 

7. Certification of the Ministry of Social Protection stating that the incorporation of the applicant respects the proportionality between Colombia and foreign Workers, in accordance with the terms of the Colombian Labour Code, except in the case of an artistic, cultural or sporting group. 

8. If the professional activity to be undertaken is not regulated, the applicant should supply a professional qualification, duly authenticated by a Colombian Consulate, carrying a legalisation or Apostile, with and/or with an acceptance of acceptance of equivalence of a professional qualification from the Ministry of Education. 

9. For other posts, there must be a letter from the contracting entity or employer responsible, certifying suitability on the basis of experience in the trade or activity to be undertaken in Colombia.
