Bulgaria

1. Passport:  Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum one blank page for visa stamp. No corrections/ alteration/handwritten passport accepted. Attach old passports (if any). Photocopies of all stamped/used pages.

2. Bulgaria Visa Application Form duly filled and signed by the applicant. Form should be completed in English or Bulgarian language. 

3. Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm) 

4. Covering Letter : Covering-Letter from applicant mentioning name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by applicant  and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria, New Delhi. Letter should be on business letter head with company stamp in case of self employed.

5. Confirmed Air Ticket

6. Hotel Confirmation: Hotel Confirmation including the name of the hotel, address, phone numbers and hotel booking code.

7. Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance covering the duration of the stay in Bulgaria.

8. Vaccination certificate copy with Passport number

Financials:

1. Personal and company's ITR for 3 Yrs. 

2. Company and Personal Bank Statement for last six months with seal and sign from bank in original. 

3. Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveller’s Cheque 

4. Proof of sufficient funds to stay in Bulgaria.

Note: Company's financial documents are required in case of self employed only.

Occupation proof: 

If Employed: 

1. Last 03 months pay slips.   

2. Original Leave letter from the organisation mentioning applicant's name, passport no, designation, period of service. letter should be duly signed by authorised signatory with company seal.

If Self Employed: 

1. Company registration copy. 

2. Proof of partnership/ proprietorship/ directorship in the company. 

Student: 

1. School/ college ID card copy.  

2. Leave sanction letter from School/college/University.

For Minors: parent/legal guardian shall submit the following-

1. Birth Certificate, if the parents are the legal guardians.

2. The decision of the competent authority on appointing the legal guardian

If a minor is traveling without parents/legal guardians:

1. A minor accompanied by one parent/ legal guardian shall provide original notarized consent of the other parent/legal guardian that shall contain personal information of the other parent/legal guardian and the purpose, the period and length of stay in Bulgaria, the period for which the consent is issued, and the signature of the other parent/legal guardian , plus copies of other parent’s guardian’s passport or ID

2. a minor travelling alone shall provide original notarized consent of the both parents/legal guardians that shall contain personal information of the parents/legal guardians and the purpose, the period and length of stay in Bulgaria, the period for which the consent is issued, and the signature of the both parents/legal guardians plus copies of parent’s/guardians’ passports or ID

5. Recommendation letter from the Chamber of Commerce

6. Invitation Letter: Invitation Letter from Bulgarian host / inviting Company on its letter head stating the purpose of travel and duration of stay and should be duly signed with signatory’s name and designation. The letter should be faxed directly to the Embassy and a copy to us. A declaration should be issued by the Bulgarian Business partner in a standard form and is required to be attested by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce. Please Note: The applicant is advised to carry with him the original Invitation from his official/ Business/ Private Partner in Bulgaria as the Bulgarian Immigration Officials at the border check point would like to see it.

7. Company registration certificate: GST/MOA/AOA and Incorporation certificate.

8. Confirmed Air Ticket

10. Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance covering the duration of the stay in Bulgaria.

11. Vaccination certificate copy with Passport number

Financials:

1. Company’s and Personal ITR 3 yrs 

2. Company and Personal Bank Statement for last six months with seal and sign from bank in original.

3. Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveller’s Cheque.

Occupation proof: 

If Employed: 

1. Last 03 months pay slips.   

2. Sponsorship letter from the organisation mentioning applicant's name, passport no, designation, period of service. letter should be duly signed by authorised signatory with company seal.

If Self Employed: 

1. Company registration copy. 

2. Proof of partnership/ proprietorship/ directorship in the company. 

3. Personal covering letter on company's letterhead mentioning all the details with company seal and applicant's sign.

6. Confirmed ticket reservation with all flights confirmed proving the transit port of entry is Bulgaria

Financials:

1. Proof of possession of sufficient financial means to cover the subsistence costs for each transit passage, to the minimum amount of EUR 50 or the equivalent of this amount in another freely convertible currency. 

2. In the case of an overland transit passage by a means of transport operated by the applicant, additional financial means to the minimum amount of EUR 200 or the equivalent of this amount in another freely convertible currency.
