Benin

1. Passport: Original Passport with the validity of minimum six months from the date of return and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping. Attach all old passports (if any).

2. Benin Visa Application Form to be duly filled & signed by the applicant.

3. Photo Specification: Three recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).

4. Covering Letter from applicant stating his name, designation, passport number and purpose & duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant with his contact details and addressed to "The Visa Officer, Embassy of Benin", New Delhi. Please Note: Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed.

5. Invitation Letter: If applicant is visiting to any friend or relative, an original invitation Letter from Benin host has to be provided which should be attested by the Indian Consulate in Benin. The letter should be duly signed by the host with his name & contact details and ID card copy.

6. Confirmed Air Ticket

7. Medical: Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) has to be submitted along with the visa application & applicant has to carry the same at the time of travel.

8. Hotel Confirmation: Hotel Confirmation including the name of the hotel, address, phone numbers and hotel booking code.

9. Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance covering the duration of the stay in Benin.

10. Vaccination certificate copy with Passport number

Financials:

a) Original Personal bank statement for last 3 months with bank's seal & signature

b) Foreign Exchange receipt or Credit card photocopy with statement of last three months.
