Bangladesh 

1. Passport: Original Passport and it should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.

2. Photograph: Two matt-finished, coloured photographs with white background. It should be 80% face close up and 35mm x 45mm in size. The photograph should not be older than 3 months. (Tip – Do not wear white-coloured clothes while clicking the photo).

3. Application Form: Filled and signed Visa Application Form.

4. Covering Letter: A covering letter from the employer stating the applicant’s name, passport no., purpose & duration of stay, their tenure as well as details about who is bearing the expenses of the trip. The letter should be addressed to ‘The Visa Officer"

5. Updated bank statements for last 6 months having stamp and sign with healthy balance.

6. Original leave letter - if employed

7. Salary slips of last 6 months - if employed

8. Company registration proof  - if self employed

9. Confirmed Air Ticket

10. Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance covering the duration of the stay in Bangladesh

11. Vaccination certificate copy with Passport number

Documents required If Visiting friends & family:

1. Invitation letter

2. Invitee National ID Card or Passport Copy (1st & last page) & visa copy 

3. Accommodation Proof 

Documents required of Sponsorer :-

1. Sponsorship Letter

2. Bank statements for the last 6 months updated (If sponsoring)

3. Salary slips for the last 3 months. (If sponsoring).

4. Income Tax Returns acknowledgment page or Form 16 Part A

5. Passport copy and visa copy

1. Passport: Original Passport with the validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping. Attach old passports (if any)

2. Bangladesh Visa Application Form to be dully filled  and signed by the applicant.

3. Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35 mm x 45mm ). 

4. Covering Letter : Covering-Letter from company on its letter head stating the applicant's name, designation, passport number, expenses clause and purpose & duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the authorized signatory with his name ,designation and company seal. Letter should be addressed  to The Visa Officer, Deputy High Commission for the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mumbai. 

5. Invitation Letter: Invitation Letter from Bangladesh host/ inviting Company on its letter head stating the applicant's name, designation and purpose & duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the authorized signatory with his name & designation to The Visa Officer, Deputy High Commission for the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mumbai.

7. Confirmed Air Ticket

8. Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance covering the duration of the stay in Bangladesh

9. Vaccination certificate copy with Passport number

Proof of Occupation: 

1. For Self Employed: Recommendation letter of company is required from a recognized Chamber of commerce, Company Registration (Certificate of Incorporation) or Ownership proof.

2. For Employed: Company ID card copy of employee 

3. Visiting Card

5. Invitation Letter: An invitation letter from inviting Company along with an appointment letter stating the applicant's name, designation, salary and accommodation details. The letter should be duly signed by the authorized signatory with his name & designation to The Visa Officer, Deputy High Commission for the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mumbai. 

6. Board of Investment: Copy of Approval from BOI (Board of Investment) should be directly faxed to the consulate & one copy of the same has to be submitted along with the visa application.

8. Certificates: Highest Educational degree has to be Notarized and duly attested by the Ministry of External Affairs followed by Bangladesh Consulate.

10. Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance covering the duration of the stay in Bangladesh
