In case the child (below 18 years) is travelling with one parent, notarized NOC from other parent will be needed, along with the copy of their ID.

An invitation letter mentioning applicant’s name, passport no., purpose & duration of stay as well as who is bearing the expenses of the trip. The letter should be addressed to ‘The Visa Officer"
Copy of immigration status like passport, visa and utility bill.
If trip is sponsored by the inviter, tax papers for the last 3 years, bank statements for the last 3 months & employment evidence will be needed.

If aged over 75 years DIAC will request:
Evidence of health insurance for entire period of stay
An ‘Aged Visitor Health Check’ completed by a DIAC appointed panel doctor
Medical: The Embassy may ask the applicant to undergo a medical examination by a panel doctor authorized by the Embassy if:
Applicant is aged 75 years or above
Planning to stay for more than 3 months
Entering any hospital
Persons likely to enter a hospital environment, health care environment or a classroom.
Persons likely to work in child care centre.
Persons likely to work as a doctor, dentist, nurse and paramedics (and students of these professions).

Note: All documents are mandatory as per this above list. Make sure your application is complete. Incomplete applications result in visa refusal and delays in processing by the embassy consulate.
